Take viewers somewhere specific and give them a reason to follow the route: three local food stops, a neighbourhood story or a small travel challenge.

THREE IDEAS TO START WITH
01

Three local stops with one theme

02

A familiar route with one hidden detail at each stop

03

A short local challenge with a fixed finish

Your 45-minute plan: 0–5 welcome · 5–20 first segment · 20–35 second segment · 35–42 final segment · 42–45 recap and next stream.

STEP BY STEP
01

Prepare the minimum setup

A charged phone, wired or wireless microphone with wind protection, mobile data and a power bank are enough for a first test. Walk the route offline first; note weak signal areas and places where filming is unsuitable.

02

Open with a clear promise

“Today we are walking from the market to the waterfront, with three stops you can help me choose.” Show the destination early, then start moving.

03

Segment one: set the scene

Start at a quiet point and explain the route.

04

Segment two: deliver the activity

At each stop, show one detail, tell one short story and ask one specific question.

05

Segment three: close the loop

Finish at the planned destination and recap the best stop.

06

Mark one useful clip

Capture a self-contained discovery or reaction: what you expected, what you found and why it was interesting.

YOUR PRACTICAL TASK

Your next action.

QUESTIONS BEGINNERS ASK

Before you go live.

What if the connection drops?+

Keep a short fallback route near reliable coverage. Tell viewers before entering a known weak area and stop safely to reconnect instead of troubleshooting while crossing roads.

How do I keep the picture steady?+

Hold the phone with both hands or use a simple grip, walk slowly and pause when showing details. Test before buying a stabiliser.
