Distribution connects the stream to new viewers. The editor creates the asset; the social manager packages it for the destination; the creator approves what represents them. One shared queue keeps the handoff clear.

STEP BY STEP
01

Create a single content queue

Use columns for source timestamp, clip file, hook, platform, caption, owner, scheduled time, destination and status. Suggested statuses: selected, editing, review, ready, scheduled, published.

02

Adapt the package

Keep a clean master without another platform’s watermark. Check each platform’s current format requirements. Adjust the opening caption, thumbnail and length when they help that audience understand the clip.

03

Approve before scheduling

Check that the clip preserves the creator’s meaning, captions are correct, rights are available and the promised next step works. One named approver prevents contradictory changes.

04

Send viewers somewhere relevant

A gaming highlight can point to the next gaming stream; an educational answer can lead to a deeper guide. Use a clear profile link and avoid asking for several actions in the same short post.

05

Review the handoff each week

Track clips edited, approved and published separately. If posting slows down, find the actual bottleneck: source footage, editing, review or scheduling. Fix that step before increasing targets.

YOUR PRACTICAL TASK

Your next action.

Fill five rows of your queue using one stream. Assign an editor, approver and posting owner—even if all three are you.

QUESTIONS BEGINNERS ASK

Before you go live.

Can the same clip go everywhere?+

A strong clean master can be reused, but the package should fit the destination. Check the crop, title, caption and available link placement before scheduling.

Does posting from the USA guarantee a US audience?+

No. Audience location depends on many factors, including the content and viewer behaviour. Organise publishing around your audience’s language, interests and response data rather than a location promise.
