Recap + next stream time
Do a 15-minute preflight
Close private tabs, mute system notifications, check mic and camera, test the activity, confirm the category and title and put water nearby. Tell one trusted person when you are starting.
Start with the activity
Say your name and the plan in one sentence, then begin. “Today I’m learning this route and trying to finish it without a guide.” Keep the explanation short enough for a new arrival to understand.
Narrate and invite
Describe what you are doing and why. Use specific questions tied to the moment, then continue the activity. Welcome people without calling out silent viewers or demanding replies.
Handle a problem calmly
Switch to the break scene if you need to fix something. Tell viewers briefly what is happening, correct one issue at a time and return to the planned activity.
Finish with a reason to return
Recap one moment, name the next stream time and thank viewers. Stop streaming, confirm the broadcast ended and save two timestamps worth clipping.
Review a small sample
Watch the opening, one middle segment and the end. Write one technical fix, one good moment and one change to the next show. Do not rebuild everything after one session.
Your next action.
Complete one live session and a three-line review: keep, change, test.
Make it happen.
Before you go live.
Should I wait until everything is perfect?+
Do a safe, working test first. You can improve graphics, pacing and equipment after you have watched a real recording.
Should I read every message?+
Respond to relevant messages when it fits the activity. Acknowledge that you will catch up during a break if a demanding moment needs your attention.
